Let's bring back the tradition of the movies at the Alliance Française : the Soirées Pop-corn which (you would have guessed) have free pop-corn ! 🍿

🗓️Let's meet on the second Thursday of the month at the Alliance, to watch French-speaking films together, with English subtitles.🎥

Information : The first PopCorn event will be on the third Thursday of September

epuis son plus jeune âge, Yazid est passionné de pâtisserie. Ballotté entre familles d'accueil et foyer durant toute son enfance, il a développé un fort tempérament. Mais pour réussir dans le monde élitiste de la pâtisserie, le jeune homme va devoir apprendre à se maîtriser. D'Épernay à Paris en passant par Monaco, il va travailler chez les plus grands chefs pâtissiers pour devenir le meilleur et tenter de réaliser son rêve en remportant le concours de champion du monde de pâtisserie.

The French Minister
Arthur Vlaminck, a young academic preparing his thesis, is hired by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His job was to write the speeches! But he still had to learn to deal with the Minister's susceptibility and entourage, and to find a place for himself between the director of the cabinet and the advisors who gravitated in a Québécois atmosphere. the director of the cabinet and the advisors who gravitate in a Quai d'Orsay where stress, ambition and dirty tricks are not uncommon.

Un jeune universitaire préparant sa thèse, Arthur Vlaminck, est embauché au ministère des Affaires Étrangères. En clair, il doit écrire les discours du ministre ! Mais encore faut-il apprendre à composer avec la susceptibilité et l’entourage du ministre, se faire une place entre le directeur du cabinet et les conseillers qui gravitent dans un Quai d’Orsay où le stress, l’ambition et les coups fourrés ne sont pas rares.

But Anthony never liked his distant relative, let alone her music. Their two worlds clash between good and bad taste, sophistication and rudeness, sincerity and lies. Unless love gets in the way...

Marcia, jeune chanteuse passionnée, enregistre un album avec son idole Daredjane, icône rock des années 1970, qui disparait soudainement. Pour sortir leur album, elle doit convaincre l’ayant-droit de Daredjane, Anthony, placier sur le marché d’une petite ville, qui n’a jamais aimé sa lointaine parente et encore moins sa musique. Entre le bon et le mauvais goût, le populaire et le chic, la sincérité et le mensonge, leurs deux mondes s’affrontent. À moins que l’amour, bien sûr….
